The DOC + FACTUAL Pitch is a competition highlighting new Doc & Factual TV projects with the greatest potential for commissioning and multiplatform extension. Dedicated to creators and producers seeking financing for projects in development, this event offers high visibility in front of a jury of leading decision makers from the global Doc & Factual Content Industry.

To qualify, submitted projects must be:
• Factual and documentary series / feature length/one-off/shorts
• Still looking for financing: “Early Stage” (Up to 25% financed) & “In Development” (25 to 75% financed)
• In its first season (returning seasons are not eligible)
• Original, not completed and not broadcasted Doc & Factual content
• Never pitched before at a festival/market or to buyers prior to MIPDOC/MIPLONDON 2026

Selection will be based on the following criteria:
• Creating Impact either through the subject and/or treatment
• Original editorial angle of the subject
• Creativity & innovation
• Quality of storytelling
• Worldwide appeal
• Well written with a clear statement of the financial viability of the project
